Memberships and subscribing

Pay it Forward

The "Pay it Forward" foundation is an organization who's main goal is to help struggling families land back on their feet by opening a homeless shelter/community center to house families until they are ready to live on their own. It is truly an amazing foundation. For more information go to www.payitforwardfoundation.net. They help individuals and families who are in true need, and help them realize that they have an open window to succeeding. They provide meals and additional training and education to help these people get back to work. If you seek true inspiration, read the book "Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed," which is about an ordinary girl who causes an amazing chain reaction that effects the entire world. This story proves that even the smallest actions can make all the difference. If you wish to change the world, pay it forward!

The Bullying Issue

Hello everybody! I'm here today to talk to you about a horrible crime known as bullying. What is the point of it? To make yourself feel good? To look cool in front of your friends? Whatever the case, no one, and I mean no one, should EVER do it. Whether it is teasing, making fun of others, cyber-bullying, or physically bullying. It is not cool no matter what form it takes place. Who cares if you have glasses, or wear braces, or have a knack for books? Because, unfortunately, those are the kids bullies seem to go for. If you know that you're a bully, PLEASE stop! Because someday, it will back fire on you. I mean, imagine the kids who are being bullied! How would they feel? If you want to know whether you are being a bully or not, here are some of the signs:

Friends will be afraid to stand up to you

Friends will abandon you, or not want to be your friend altoghether

You tease your friends in cruel ways

You yell, boss around, make fun of, or hurt other people

Friends will cater your every needs because they are afraid to do otherwise

You will boss everyone around

You will purposely make others feel bad about their choices that you do not favor

These are just a few signs of bullying, but if you do any of these please stop right now. And trust me, you will be making a huge difference in the world. Over the years, I've realized that bullies are the reason our world can be such a horrible place. It would be a true dream if all the people our planet united and agreed to put a final stop to bullying...

The Daily Puppy

The "daily puppy" shows updated pictures of adorable puppies each day. I am trying to spread awareness about all those poor animals who are suffering from cruelness, diseases, and the inability to find good homes. Please try and help them by supporting various organizations. If you are planning to adopt a pet such as a cat or a dog, please consider rescuing them instead of getting them from pet shops. And if you do happen to adopt one, please remember to treat it with love, kindness, and respect. Tons of loving puppies are in need of a home, so PLEASE get involved in helping to save them, because every puppy who can't find a home is put down. They need help! You can work at local Humane societies, or foster puppies and other animals.

There are many charity organizations, so here are a few of the best: WWF (World Wildlife Fund), Save the children, Guide Dogs, World Vision, and Act!onaid. If you visit the website above, to may be able to sponsor injured animals and take part in saving them, and much much more. So go forth and spread the word, because they need YOUR help!

Introduction

Welcome to my blog! "Living in Harmony" is all about making donations, helping others who are suffering, and just standing by one another in order to create a confidence so strong nothing can break it. This blog will help you realize what horrible things are happening on our planet. There is homelessness, diseases, disabilities, injuries, and tragedies you will find in about every sliver of our world, that is becoming worse and worse each day. We need to learn to embrace them to ensure the future generations to come. So don't just stand by, watching others get hurt. You may be thinking, "It isn't my problem, what do I have to do with this situation?" Well, to answer that question, everyone is involved. You may not know this, but you are a part of something big. Think of it this way: Earth is like a big machine. Each machine comes with the exact amount of pieces it needs to function properly. It doesn't come with more than it needs. So that must mean that every person has a reason to inhabit this planet. There is use to every piece existing, because everything happens for a reason. Sure, there will be bad pieces that don't quite fit, but what is our world without it's villains? The strength of our heroes will overcome the challenges we may face on our journey to peace on Earth. So do something. Don't depend on others to fix your mistakes.
